Dramatic footage shows crews tackling double-decker bus fire
There were dramatic scenes after a double decker bus caught fire.
Photos show the back of the National Express double-decker completely engulfed in flames.
The incident happened as the bus travelled towards Keresley village in Coventry, just after the stop for the Wallace pub.
The fire started at around 4.30pm yesterday before two fire crews from West Midlands Fire Service were called to the scene. They confirmed that nobody was injured.
Photos circulated on social media show the back half of the number 16 double decker bus engulfed by flames and smoke billowing from the scene.
Keresley Road was closed between Tamworth Road and Norman Place Road whilst officers tackled the blaze causing heavy traffic in the area.The fire was put out shortly after 5pm.
