Dashcam captures illegal bikers tearing up M6

Footage has emerged showing off-road bikers including a man on a quad bike, weaving dangerously in and out of traffic along the M6.

The incident was filmed on a dashboard camera and shows up to 10 riders travelling along the southbound carriageway near Coventry.

The footage, obtained exclusively by ITV News Central, was captured two weeks ago by a driver who described the incident as frightening.

ITV News Central plans to show the footage to Warwickshire Police who have yet to comment on the incident.

Roadside assistance group said the actions were worrying, as Robert Townsend reports.
