Prison service dealing with disturbance at HMP Long Lartin

A disturbance has broken out at a high security prison in Worcestershire this evening (11 October).

The Ministry of Justice said it is dealing with an ongoing incident at Long Lartin prison.

There are reports of up to 80 prisoners attacking staff with "pool balls". The Category A prison has a capacity of 622.
