Gladiators celebrates 25 years since first airing on ITV

On the 10th October 1992, the hit TV show Gladiators made its debut on our screens, 25 years ago today.
Gladiators was primetime Saturday night viewing on ITV for eight years from 1992 to 2000, pulling in tens of millions of audience figures each week.
The show captivated audiences at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, where the show was filmed for the eight years that it aired.
James Crossley, who was Hunter on the show tweeted a picture of him along with Jet, Panther, Ace and referee John Anderson who were all on ITV's This Morning to celebrate the anniversary.
