BREAKING NEWS: Police release CCTV in child rape case

Detectives investigating two separate rapes of a teenager in Birmingham within just a few hours of each other, have released CCTV images of men they wish to speak with in connection with the attacks.

Officers say if anyone has any information on who these men are then they are urging the public to contact them as soon as possible.

Detectives say they believe they may have vital information which will help with their enquiries.

The investigation continues into the circumstances which lead to the 14-year-old girl being assaulted.

It had previously been reported that the victim was 15 but this age has now been amended by investigating officers.

Later, at around 2am on Wednesday 27 July, police say the victim was in the station in a disorientated state and then left by the station entrance.

She walked away from the station and flagged down a vehicle, she was then raped a second time.

The first man sought over the offence at the station is described as:

  • Asian,

  • Aged in his early twenties,

  • Of slim build,

  • Approximately 6ft with light skin and brown eyes,

  • Was wearing a grey tracksuit top and bottoms and black trainers.

The second man sought over the offence at the station is described as

  • Asian,

  • Aged in his early twenties,

  • 5ft 6ins to 5ft 7ins,

  • large build,

  • Has a tight beard,

  • Was wearing a blue jumper and black jeans.

The third man sought over the offence in the vehicle is described as:

  • Thick set man,

  • Approximately 5ft 6 inch,

  • Has large biceps.
