26-year-old man jailed for raping fellow student

A student at the University of Wolverhampton has been jailed for 16 years for raping a fellow student as she slept.

Akiel Flemming attacked the woman in October 2016 at a halls of residence.

The 26-year-old, from Albert Avenue in Manchester, also sexually assaulted another woman.

Flemming was ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life.
