UPDATE: Train collides with debris caused by car crash

A train driver is 'in shock' after a train collided with debris left from a car crash.

The car - believed to have been stolen - flipped over on Vicarage Road in Birmingham around 6am this morning.

Two people with multiple injuries are in hospital following the crash.

There were no passengers on the train at the time and delays are expected until 6pm today.

There have been no cancellations but trains between Birmingham New Street and Kings Norton may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or diverted.
