Drayton Manor to reopen after schoolgirl fell from water ride
Drayton Manor Park, where an 11-year-old schoolgirl died after falling from a water ride, will reopen for the first time this weekend.
Evha Jannath, from Leicester, was fatally injured after falling from a boat on the Splash Canyon ride during a school trip on Tuesday.
Her family have requested that the ride is suspended until the inquiry has concluded.
A spokesman for the theme park said the ride would remain closed.
An inquest into the Evha Jannath's death is expected to open next week with a post-mortem examination set to take place on Monday.
