Firefighters tackle double coach fire to bring it under control

Firefighters have now left the scene of a double coach fire on Clayland Avenue in Worksop in Nottinghamshire.

Crews used breathing apparatus and jets to extinguish the fire which was causing a large smoke plume heading towards Langold.

Around 15 firefighters in total were called to the incident at 12.44pm on Wednesday 25 January.

Two coaches were involved but there were others nearby which were moved very quickly – helping to prevent the fire spreading further.

The service tweeted that the incident has now been resolved.
