Top 10 Festival Hacks
Look after yourself and your mates - stick together and make sure that you know where your friends are at all times. Bring a First Aid kit.
Get organised. Pack strategically so the things you need first are at the top of your bag. Organise your transport home in advance. Make sure you know the times your favourite artists are performing and where.
Pace yourself - else you'll burn out straight away and won't enjoy the rest of the festival you've bought tickets for at great expense.
Eat and drink properly. Keep hydrated with plenty of water, and bring food with you - you'll use loads of energy walking around the site, and food will be expensive at the festival.
Bring medication, contact lenses and solutions, and make sure you have enough to last.
Stay fragrant with baby wipes, dry shampoo and body spray.
Bring a portable phone charger to stay in contact with your mates.
Tempting it might be to wear your best clothes - think of all that mud. You don't want to ruin your favourite clothes. Bring plastic bags to line your tent, to wear if it rains, and for all your rubbish.
Decorate your tent - especially on the outside - so you can recognise it from afar.
Prepare for mud. See above on baby wipes, suitable clothes and plastic bags!
