Lucy's bedroom doubles up as a studio where she does her filming. She is blind and uses her videos to show how having a disability doesn't stop you from leading a regular life. Lucy is helped by her boyfriend Ollie Cave and her sister Alice.

She suffers from a rare condition called incontentia pigmenti in her eye which caused her to lose the sight in her right eye at 11and in her left when she was 17.

She had always been interested in make-up and after losing her sight didn’t want to lose her independence.

Lucy uses something called PENfriend assistive technology to identify the products she is using. Stickers are created which are then attached to the products, she then uses the PENfriend to scan each of them. A voice will play out telling her exactly what she is holding.

She also wanted to inspire others in a similar position with her beauty tutorials which are uploaded onto her channel and accessed through screen readers.
