First World War hero to be honoured

A paving stone to commemorate a First World War hero is set to be unveiled today.

The ceremony is taking place 100 years after Joseph Davies received the Victoria Cross.

He was awarded it by King George V for his bravery at Delville Wood, France, on 20 July 1916.

Corporal Davies' family will accept the award on his behalf at Tipton British Legion war memorial later today.
