I Am Team GB: Get involved in the nation's biggest ever sports day

On Saturday August 27th, our Olympic heroes will be helping to create the nation's biggest sports day, and everyone is invited to take part.

Called I Am Team GB and brought to you by ITV and the National Lottery, there will be free events throughout the Central region.

Whether you want to take part in a traditional sport, like running or swimming, or fancy something slightly different like aikido or synchronised swimming, there are activities near you. A big multi sports event is being staged at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. There are lots of ways to get involved.
