Latest excavations at Bradgate Park shown to public
People are being invited to join University archaeologists to learn about the latest discoveries at Bradgate Park in Leicester.
There's currently a five-year research programme going on there, to find out more of the history of the park.
The University of Leicester project involves a series of excavations, surveys and reconstructions, which gives us more of an idea about the parks' past, as well as training opportunities for students.
The video above shows the work undertaken in 2015, when the project started. This years' dig is part of the second season of work at Bradgate Park.
