A woman from Leicester has given birth to twins two years apart.

Oliver and his newborn brother Isaac were conceived from the same batch of embryos. Rachel and Richard Best fell pregnant with Oliver in 2013 after six gruelling attempts at IVF, and he was born on March 22 2014.

At the same time two embryos from the same batch were frozen at the Leicester Fertility Centre.

Last year the two remaining embryos were thawed out for Rachel's eighth round of IVF.

The due date for the new arrival was Tuesday 22 March 2016 which was ironically, Oliver's second birthday! But Isaac arrived five days early on Thursday 17 March.

The parents said that it is " a dream come true."
