Giant sperm whales washed up on Lincolnshire coast
The sperm whales have washed ashore off the coast of Lincolnshire at Skegness and at Gibraltar Point.
They are thought to be the remaining members of a pod of whales which were spotted in The Wash on Friday.
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution's Skegness base tweeted a picture of one of the whales after it was carried ashore with the 6.30am tide.
Two more dead whales were also washed up south of the town.
On Friday a 50ft-long whale beached on rocks at Hunstanton in Norfolk, unfortunately it later died despite rescue attempts.
