Seven people accused of conspiring to commit criminal damage andaggravated trespass to the home of a couple who were evicted have beenfound not guilty.

The six men and a woman told ITV News Central they feel justice has been done.

The case relates to the high profile eviction last year of TomCrawford and his wife Sue from their home at Carlton inNottinghamshire.

They were involved in a high profile dispute with their mortgage company.

Supporters from various parts of the country prevented bailiffs fromentering the house.

They were eventually able to gain access to the property and securityguards, with dogs, patrolled the house 24 hours a day to prevent anyonefrom entering.

However on July 24th, supporters of Mr and Mrs Crawford managed to climb on to the roof.

Leicester Crown Court heard their actions were illegal - a window wasbroken and a security guard was sprayed in the face with paint.

Jurors were today told that the prosecution would be offering nofurther evidence and they were discharged from returning a verdict.

The six men and one woman said they felt common sense had prevailed.
