RSPCA appeal for information after cat shot dead

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a cat was shot in Birmingham and later died.

Daisy, a mother of six two-week old kittens was found near to her home on Freasley Road in Shard End where she was trying to drag herself to safety last Friday.

When Daisy had gone out of her house her owner, Elizabeth Cavanagh did not expect her to be out long, as she was nursing her six kittens who, at two weeks old, were dependent on their mother.
