In Pictures: Mountsorrel railway grand reopening

The grand reopening of the historic Mountsorrel Railway was held today in Leicestershire.

The branch line links with the Great Central Railway at Swithland sidings and runs to the new station at Bond Lane, Mountsorrel.

The opening will see trains running across both Saturday and Sunday.

The project started in 2007 to restore the 1.25 miles of the Mountsorrel Railway.
