Mr Crawford was evicted earlier this month by UK Asset Resolutions on behalf of Bradford & Bingley bank, who say they are owed £43,000 in missed mortgage repayments.
Mr Crawford took out an endowment mortgage with the now defunct bank in 1988 to buy his home in Carlton, and claims the bank changed the terms of his repayments without telling him.

However five people were arrested in angry scenes when bailiffs finally got access to his house on Thursday 2nd of July.
