Six arrested in connection with murder in Burton-on-Trent

Five men and one woman have been arrested as part of a murder investigation in Burton-on-Trent.

Officers were called to All Saints Road at 6:30am where they found a man lying unconscious in the road.

Staffordshire Police say despite efforts to save him the man died. They say they were called to a report of vehicles being damaged in the street when the found the victim.

The death is being treated as suspicious and a police cordon remains in place on All Saints Road, between Branston Road and Uxbridge Street, while forensics teams examine the scene.
