Lifelong Villa fan meets sporting hero at Wembley

For one lifelong fan today's FA Cup final was extra special as he got to meet his footballing hero at Wembley Stadium.

John Flanner, 67, from Solihull is a Villa park regular who was there to watch Villa lift the FA Cup trophy in 1957.

Peter McParland was Villa's goalscorer at that game and he caught up with John to reminisce and share predictions for the game ahead.

Although John lost his sight at 19, he told ITV News Central it was 'amazing' to meet Peter because he has so many treasured memories of watching him play.
