Three injured as car and tractor collide

Three people were injured in a crash involving a car and a tractor in Shropshire.

The crash happened on the B4387 between Westbury and Yockleton at around 8:30am this morning.

A boy, believed to be ten years old, suffered potentially serious leg injuries. The driver of the car - a woman in her 30s - was treated for multiple minor injuries. A second boy, believed to be in his early teens, was treated for a shoulder injury.

All three were transferred by ambulance to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further emergency treatment.

The driver of the tractor was uninjured in the crash.
