£60m shopping development to keep shoppers in market town

Work has begun on a £60million pound makeover of a market town in the East Midlands, to try and encourage shoppers to spend their money there rather than travelling to other centres.

After months of demolition work in Hinckley in Leicestershire, construction has started on a new shopping centre and supermarket complex with a cinema which could bring up to 800 new jobs to the Leicestershire town.
