A mother from Derbyshire who was accepted to take part in Miss England has now been rejected, because she has a daughter.

Danielle Tyler wrote on her application for the beauty pageant that her greatest achievement in life is her three-year-old but says just weeks later organisers informed her it is against their policy to accept entrants who have children.

The 23-year-old, who is a full-time mother to Annelise says the rule is outdated.
