30,000 people swabbed in appeal to find donor for Margot Martini
More than 30,000 people have come forward to try and help save the life of a 17-month-old girl from Staffordshire who has a rare form of leukaemia.
Margot Martini urgently needs a stem cell donor and thousands have now been swabbed to see if they are a suitable match.
Margot's parents made an internet appeal earlier this month to find a bone marrow donor for their daughter. You can watch the appeal here.
The couple, from Essington, made the appeal after Margot Martini was diagnosed with two types of leukaemia in October. She needed an immediate blood transfusion and spent 10 days on life support. The video campaign has now had more than 73,000 views.
