The Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market returns tomorrow

Now in it's thirteenth year, the Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market is a huge favourite with both residents and visitors to the city.

The largest authentic German market in the world, outside Germany and Austria, it attracted over four million visitors last year from across the UK and Europe.

Stretching for more than a mile and featuring 190 stalls, the market will run from 14 November – 22 December.

Where is it?

Victoria Square, New Street, Centenary Square and Chamberlain Square.

What can you buy?

Hand-crafted items at the Christmas Craft Market as well as ethnic goods imported from all over the world, from handmade toys, to Christmas decorations and original jewellery.

What can you do?

The outdoor ice rink returns this year, 'Winter Skate' will be open daily from 10am to 10pm from Sunday 17 November until 5 January (except Christmas Day) with last entries at 9pm.

What can you eat and drink?

German mulled wine (Gluhwein), grilled sausages, vegetarian options, pretzels, German beer, gingerbread, crepes and marzipan sweets.
