Soldiers march through Stafford as part of Battle of Britain commemorations
More than 50 airmen will march through Stafford today (September 15th) as part of the Battle of Britain commemorations.
Hundreds are expected to turn out to watch the parade that will remember the 1940 aerial battle of World War II.
The airmen, who are part of the Tactical Supply Wing of the RAF, are based in the town's Beacon Barracks. They will be exercising their Freedom of the Borough.
The march will follow the Battle of Britain Commemoration service at St Mary's Church.
A wreath will be laid at the borough war memorial and the county war memorial before the airmen march through the town centre.
