Jeff Stelling writes letter of thanks after charity walks nets £800,000

TV Presenter Jeff Stelling has written a letter of thanks to supporters after fundraising from his March for Men walks rose to £800,000.

The event, which took place in June saw Jeff walk between the countries premier league grounds, visiting football fans in York, Leeds, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Rotherham, Sheffield and Chesterfield.

He has now been nominated for Just Giving's Celebrity Fundraiser of the Year for his efforts to promote awareness of Prostate Cancer, saying "He's proud of an amazing cast of friends, united with one aim, to tame this dreadful disease."
