Man arrested over fatal crash involving 6 cars

A man has been arrested after a fatal crash on the A1 at Newark involving six cars.

The driver of one of the cars died at the scene. The crash happened at about 7.55am on the northbound carriageway.

A 38-year-old man is being questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have dash cam footage of the collision to get in touch.
