Man's body found in River Welland near Spalding

An investigation is underway after a man's body was found in the River Welland near Spalding.

Police are treating the death as unexplained and have not yet been able do identify the man. He is described as 25-35 years old, 6 feet tall with long strawberry blond hair in a ponytail and goatee style beard.

He was found around 8.30am on Sunday February 5th.

If anyone has any information concerning the possible identity of the man, or the circumstances which led to him being in the River Welland, they are urged to contact Lincolnshire Police quoting Incident 87 of 5th February.
