Vehicle fire causes severe delays on A1 northbound
The A1 Northbound is blocked, causing stationary traffic, severe delays due to vehicle fire between Barnsdale Bar, Skellow and A1(M) J40 at Darrington. Congestion is going back to J37 Marr. A van has caught fire and traffic is being held while the fire is dealt with. It is affecting traffic heading out of South Yorkshire towards the M62.
