Christopher Melvyn Colebrook, of Bowers Fold, Doncaster, appeared before Sheffield Crown Court yesterday and entered guilty pleas to two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against a 16-year-old girl in Doncaster in October 2015.

He also admitted a further two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against a 19-year-old man in Doncaster in June 2015.

Colebrook also pleaded guilty to assault of a police officer.

Colebrook has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced at Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday 19 April.

Colebrook targeted vulnerable teenagers, plying them with alcohol before subjecting them to vile and horrific sexual offending.

The victims have been incredibly brave in sharing their ordeals with police. We are pleased that Colebrook has admitted his guilt and that the victims are spared the prospect of reliving their abuse before a court.

We hope this positive result reassures victims of sexual abuse who perhaps are yet to come forward that we take this crime incredibly seriously and will do whatever we can to bring these despicable individuals before the courts.
