The widow of 81 year old Mushin Ahmed from Rotherham has told a court that her husband's killers had cruelly ended their marriage of almost 50 years.
Mushin Ahmed died after being attacked on his way to early morning prayers in Rotherham last August.
Peggy Ahmed said:"I have the rest of my life to spend without my beloved husband and my pain and loss is almost indescribable."
She said her husband was a hero to the couple's 14 grandchildren.
Dale Jones will be sentenced shortly for his murder and Damien Hunt will be sentenced for manslaughter.

At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
