Demolition of 1970s Halifax car park

Many roads in Halifax were closed this morning due to the demolition of the Cow Green Multi-storey Car Park. The moment the building came down was captured by Calderdale Council (@Calderdale).

The concrete car park was built in the early 1970s and closed three years ago on safety grounds when structural inspections showed it to be in a very poor condition.
