'No data stolen' in Lincs council cyber attack

Lincolnshire County Council have confirmed that most of their systems should be back up and running by tomorrow, following a cyber attack which hit them last week.

It was thought the council was being held to ransom for a million pounds by hackers, after the attack.

Medical records and other personal data from its care services were put at risk when its IT system was breached.

But now the council has confirmed that no data was stolen.
