13-year-old hailed a hero after saving young children from hoverboard fire
A 13-year-old boy from Bradford who saved two young children after a hoverboard exploded has been hailed a hero by the fire service.
Jibril Muhammed Faris was playing at his friend's house when the board set alight while it was on charge. He led his two friends to safety at the house in Wyke and called 999.
Speaking today, Jibril said he had been upset to hear about a burglary that had taken place at the house two days after the fire.
Police say they are aware that the house was targeted by burglars, who smashed the rear window and took jewellery. Enquiries are continuing.
