West End producer tackles 'The Girls'

West End producer David Pugh has had countless successes in his long career in the theatre, from putting Daniel Radcliffe on stage in the controversial Equus to the reincarnation of Morecambe and Wise in The Play what I wrote.

Now though he's concentrating on The Girls, a musical based of course on the ladies of Rylstone WI. It's written by Gary Barlow and Tim Firth and opens in November at Leeds Grand.

He spoke to ITV Calendar earlier.
