Police have launched an investigation following the discovery of two bodies at a park in Bradford.

The bodies of a male and female were found by a member of the public in Bowling Park this morning around 6.30am.

‘While the investigation is at an early stage we do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances, but the bodies will be subject to a post mortem to establish the exact cause of death.

‘‘Formal identification has not taken place at this time but we believe the bodies are that of a local couple - a man aged 40 and a woman aged 35.

‘‘An area of the park close to Lister Avenue has been sealed off while the scene continues to be forensically examined.’’
