Huddersfield hospital unit faces closure for being 'under utilised'

Councillors will discuss plans to close Huddersfield Royal Infirmary's early pregnancy unit today.

Mums-to-be who need scans and treatment may have to travel to Calderdale Royal Hospital in Halifax in the future after a report which said the service in Huddersfield is "under-utilised."
