Video: Bus bursts into flames in centre of Halifax
Around 15 passengers were evacuated from a bus in Halifax city centre this afternoon after a fire erupted in the engine compartment.
Fire crews from Halifax and Illingworth attended the scene at around 12.20pm.
The driver of the single-decker Yorkshire Tiger bus spotted smoke in his rear mirror. He make sure the passengers were safely out of the vehicle before he called 999.
Watch Commander Bairstow from Halifax Fire and Rescue Services told ITV News that nobody was hurt in the fire.
