York City FC's planning application for a new 8,000-seat stadium has been approved.

Plans to build a new sports community stadium for York City could get the go ahead today.
The application to the City of York council includes an 8,000 seater stadium along with sports and leisure facilities at the now demolished site of the Huntingdon Stadium.
