The Olympic gold medallist will top the bill against former British Lightweight champion Martin Gethin at the Ice Arena next month.

Campbell had pulled out of the show earlier in February because his father was ill and had been moved to Dove House Hospice after a period of intensive care.

After talking with my dad and my family I've decided to box on March 7.

It's been a difficult time for me but everyone wants me to crack on and succeed and I want to keep my momentum going as I approach an important phase of my career.

– Luke Campbell

Campbell is targeting a summer showdown with fellow Hull Lightweight Tommy Coyle.
