She'll run in constituency of Haltemprice & Howden, for Yorkshire First to campaign for a devolved, accountable Yorkshire parliament with similar powers to Scotland.

We have an incredible opportunity to make a real change in people lives here. I know from experience that Yorkshire is below the horizon from the point of view of the Westminster parties.

We can, and should, have much more say in our own affairs, with decisions needed here taken here. This will be great for Yorkshire, all its people, the environment, and the UK economy and a huge step forward for British democracy.

– Diana Wallis, Yorkshire First candidate

Haltemprice & Howden is currently held by David Davis MP. Diana Wallis previously fought this seat (against David Davis) in 1997 for the Liberal Democrats, achieving a notional 7.5% swing.
