700,000 strong digital radio audience opened up in North Yorkshire

Today marked the switch-on of four new transmitters in North Yorkshire, opening up a digital audience of potentially 700,000 radio listeners.

ITV Calendar's Christine Talbot, along with BBC Look North's Harry Gration pressed the button for the official switch-on to activate the transmitters in Bilsdale, Acklam Wold, Olivers Mount and Harrogate covering over 80% of the local population.
