A 21-9 victory over Canada in the final secured the title for the second time, 20 years after beating the USA in the 1994 final.

The trophy will be displayed at Ovenden Park on 28 February. To mark the event, Halifax Ladies will play Derby Vipers and the men's team will play York RI.

This is a fantastic honour for the club. With our game against Derby now taking place on the same day we are hoping that the appearance of the cup will act as an inspiration to the ladies and show what hard work and determination can achieve.
