Bradford Odeon to become live music venue

One of the most famous landmarks on Bradford's skyline, the Odeon Cinema building, will be transformed into a live music venue after the council voted in favour of developers' plans.

Big name acts have already pledged their support for "Bradford live" , who say they will spend £18m on a refurbishment which will restore features of the original theatre, thought to have been lost forever. Victoria Whittam reports.
