Mansfield family join protest in bid for justice in Crete death case
The son of a woman from Mansfield who died on a Greek holiday island will take part in a protest in London today.
Michael Porter's mother Jean Hanlon died on Crete in 2009. He will travel through the capital on an open top bus alongside other families who have lost loved ones abroad and say they have never got justice.
Michael believes his mother was murdered and has been looking for answers ever since her body was found in the sea three days after she went missing.
A murder inquiry was opened by the Greek authorities. But the case was closed in 2012.
