Water supplies restored to hospital in Lincolnshire

Water supplies have now been restored to a hospital in northern Lincolnshire after a burst water main led to a major incident being declared.

Bosses at Scunthorpe General Hospital say the problem meant no drinking water was available and that toilet flushing was also affected. Patients were told not to attend A and E where possible. But officials say the issued has now been resolved and the hospital is operating as usual.
