Campaingers: "drilling is "one step closer to fracking"

Environmental campaigners have spoken to Calendar about their anti-fracking protest at Crawberry Hill, near Walkington in East Yorkshire.

Rathlin Energy UK has categorically denied fracking. They say they have all the correct permits and planning permissions to carry out exploratory tests to determine whether there is any underground gas.

But Alina Friedman, one of the "Protectors of the Land" who are camping outside the front gate of the site, says it is one step closer to fracking.
